My Simple Skin Care Routine!

Hey guys

When it comes to skin care, I’ll be honest, I’m pretty lazy! But I think its important to establish a simple routine to maintain a healthy complexion.

My skin is far from perfect.

I have combination/oily skin (more on the oily side) but I also have super sensitive skin which makes it difficult to find the right products that work!

I’m not a big believer in using a million products, I prefer to stick to the necessities so my skincare routine is really simple.

I’m currently using Dermalogica products which I’m really loving!

Dermalogica products don’t contain any harsh chemicals, fragrance and colours that irritate the skin.

I’m currently using;

  • The Ultracalming Cleanser

The ultracalming cleanser is a gentle pH-balanced gel that cleanses without stripping the skins protective barrier.

I use this cleanser morning and night!

  • The Daily Microfoliant

The microfoliant is a rice-based powder formula that activates when it comes in contact with water. I use this every second day after I have cleansed my skin.

  • Active Moist

The active moist is oil-free and light weight, it also contains plant extracts that improves skin texture as well as combating dehydration.

This moisturizer is my absolute holy grail, I love it!

  • Rosehip Oil

The last step in my skin care routine is rosehip oil. Rosehip oil is a dry oil and is effective in reducing scars, stretch marks and other skin concerns (read more here

I like to use a few drops of the oil at night before I go bed to refresh my skin.

This simple skin care routine has helped keep my skin under control especially around that time of the month.

Love and light
