My Christmas Beauty Look

Christmas is fast approaching and I’ve got a simple make-up look that will get you through your festive celebrations.

For us Aussies, Christmas is always extremely hot! So you will agree with me when I say that a face full of make-up is a no gone zone.

Although it’s hot, you still want to look somewhat polished especially when you are catching up with long lost relatives, you need to look your best!

So I’ve put together a look bellow that encompasses the right amount of glam and effortlessness.

My simple make up look

This look is so simple and only takes a few steps to achieve:

Step one:

Apply your primer, foundation and concealer as usual. A good option is to substitute your normal foundation for tinted moisturiser or BB cream if you want a more lightweight/ natural complexion.

Step two:

Apply bronzer and blush to warm up your skin. Also apply your highlighter to your cheek bones, eyelids and cupids bow.

Step three:

Apply a creamy red lip and mascara to finish the look.

The two hero products of this look are M.a.c’s lipstick in Vegas Vault and the Balms Mary Lou Manizer.

The Balm Mary Lou Manizer

Vegas Vault is an amplified lipstick from the M.A.C cosmetics range, you can get it here: The lipstick is red but with an orange under tone, making it a more subtle and perfect for the warmer weather. The texture is so creamy and long lasting, besides who doesn’t like red lips for Christmas?

The Balms  Mary-Lou Manizer is a highlighter and the best darn one on the market, if I might add! You can buy it here: .The highlighter is a golden shade and gives you a natural glow. The highlighter can also double up as an eye shadow making it even more convenient.

Have a Merry Christmas!
