Monthly Favourites: The Beauty Edition

A few of my favourite things from January.

EOS Lip Balm:

The lip balm of all lip balms! I’m a lip balm lover… I’ll admit it and EOS balls are my absolute favourite.

Extremely nourishing, these lip balms smell Devine. My current favourite being, summer fruits.

Even better, the price! In the Us, they retail for approximately three dollars. Winning! I purchased mine via shop and box.

Mary-Lou Manizer:

The Balms Mary-Lou is my current favourite highlighter and for good reason.

The golden shade gives a natural glow to accentuate the cheekbones and doubles up as an eyeshadow.

Some highlighters can be “too much”, but not the Mary-Lou, she’ll keep you looking flawless!

Chanel Inimitable Intense Mascara:

Chanel’s Inimitable Intense mascara has been my go to mascara throughout January.

This mascara doesn’t clump, hallelujah!! Lately it’s been difficult to find an everyday mascara that doesn’t clump.

I love the formula of the Inimitable Intense mascara, especially for everyday use because it never looks too over the top and gives you longer looking lashes.

  • Chanel Inimitable Intense Mascara is available in store at Myer or David Jones.

Dior Pore Minimising Primer:

Dior’s Pore Minimising primer is the holy grail of primers!

For starters, it’s matte which is perfect for all those oily skinned gals out there, including myself. The oil free formula ensures your foundation lasts all day without shine.

The primer smooths out the skins pores creating a blank canvas to start your make-up application.

Another great thing about this primer is that a small amount goes a long way which excuses the products steep price!

M.A.C Lipstick-Blankety:

I have a number of nude lipsticks in my makeup collection and M.A.C’s Blankety has fast become one of my favourites.

The lipstick is an amplified and is a pink based nude.

I’m loving it because it looks natural compared to other nudes that can look quite “cakey”. I apply the lipstick straight onto my lips and dab it in with my finger to ensure that the colour looks completely natural!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Perfect Eyebrow Pencil:

I’ve had this eyebrow pencil for only a few weeks but it has completely changed the way I fill in my eyebrows!

I don’t have a lot going on in the eyebrow department so I’ve continuously been searching for a product that will in fill in my eyebrows in the most natural way possible.

You can understand my excitement when I discovered the Anastasia perfect brow pencil. I use the colour, blonde (no surprises there, considering I have blonde hair) and use it to outline the shape of my eyebrows before I go in with a brow powder to fill them in.

The texture of the brow pencil is so creamy and has a spoolie on the end to brush the eyebrow hairs into shape.
