I’ve been drinking smoothies as a snack for years as a healthier alternative to sugary treats and as a way to pump my body with the nutrients that it needs. Recently I’ve been searching for a product to add to my smoothie to make it more filling and nutritious, and I discovered the WelleCo Super Elixir nourishing protein powder. Unlike other powders, the Super Elixir doesn’t contain ‘whey’, instead it contains organic sprouted brown rice  and pea protein, making it more beneficial in alkalizing the body. I’ve started to add a spoonful of the vanilla flavoured protein powder to my afternoon green smoothie. Check out my go-to recipe bellow.
