I’m a big believer that white can be worn all year round, especially in winter. When winter rolls around each year, stores are bombarded with black, grey, charcoal and navy. Don’t get me wrong, I love an all black outfit, but sometimes a neutral outfit on a Winters day is just what you need to break out of a cold style rut. I’m currently loving anything blush, including this gorgeous Witchery jumper with gold foil stars!
My tips for wearing neutral colours in winter are to;
Wear layers: Simply adding a layering cami underneath your jumper, or a scarf around your neck or even a trench on a particularly chilly day will most definitely keep you warm and also give you that ‘winter vibe’.
Mix textures: Play around with different fabrics, materials, and patterns to add depth and character to your outfits.
Wearing the right underwear is everything: Pretty self explanatory, but the number of times I’ve seen women wearing the wrong underwear, well it can ruin your whole outfit! There’s nothing worse than seeing your red nickers under your white denim jeans!
