I recently purchased the Clarisonic Mia two skin cleansing brush after I heard rave reviews online.
The clarisonic is a combination of sonic devices and state-of-the-art skincare formulas that produces over 300 movements per second. The brush works to remove deep-seated impurities from the pores and is suppose to cleanse six times better than hands alone (more information here: http://www.clarisonic.com.au/the-sonic-method).
I decided to jump on the band wagon and try out the Clarisonic due to my problem skin. The combination of changing weather, make-up and annoying hormones has really taken a toll on my skin and deep cleansing was definitely in order!
I purchased my Clarisonic two weeks ago from Myer, whom have an extensive range of the devices. The Mia 2 retails for around $190 whilst the original Mia retails for $150 however both are currently on sale (available here: http://goo.gl/XeugM3).
The clarisonic also comes with a magnetic charging device, a sample of the Clarisonic cleansing solution, a cleansing head and a plastic travel container.
The device has two speeds as well as a one minute timer. The timer is an important element to the device because it switches itself off at the one minute mark so that you don’t over cleanse and irritate your skin.
I’ve been using my Clarisonic morning and night and have been loving the results so far. Before I use the device I ensure I have washed off any make-up by using coconut oil, dampen my skin and apply cleanser to my face.
Although I have only been using the device for two weeks, my skin is feeling really clean and I’ve noticed that small bumps on my forehead are disappearing.
If you’re having skin issues and are looking for ways to combat it, I definitely recommend reading up on or trying out the Clarisonic.
