With baby van Gruening almost here I thought it was time I finally revealed our gender neutral nursery! As we don’t know the sex of our baby yet, Frankie and I decided to keep the nursery extremely simple, bright and airy; with the plan to add pops of colour and fresh styling pieces once bub has arrived.
Bubs bedroom isn’t very large, so we decided against adding a nursing chair, opting to use the the wing-back chair in our master bedrooms retreat instead. This way the room has enough space as our baby grows to introduce a play area and allow our family to move around freely.
My mum bought us a gorgeous wicker bassinet from Pottery Barn Kids Australia, that is currently standing next to my bedside, waiting for our little one to arrive! The Bassinet is surprisingly large with plenty of room as bub grows, I’m planning on having bub stay in our bedroom for at least the first six months.
It’s a crazy feeling to know that hubby and I are days away from meeting our first born! I’m so full of emotions, but I can’t wait for this next chapter of our lives.
Love and Light,
